With almost 20 years of experience in the fitness industry Scott Perry has successfully co-created 3 profitable group training gym concepts in California. His passion for music and group fitness found a home when he team up with Ryan Hall, Kenny Nguyen, and Marybeth Perry in 2017 combining forces to create one of the most unique and exciting boutique gym experiences. The brand has grown into a local house hold name as it continues to push the envelop by constantly evolving and creating new ways to wow the members. He believes through encouraged fitness, combined with music that fuels the soul, an ever growing community of people will become happier and lead healthier lives.
Ryan Hall is one of the Co/Founders of Motion Fitness Group overseeing brand development, trainer acquisition and development. Ryan also is lead on all expansion and design aspects in regards to Motion. Prior to Motion, Ryan Hall was a team leader for the United States Army’s elite Special Reaction Team where he led a 26 man SWAT team in charge of human trafficking investigations in SE Asia. He also has combat time leading his squad through combat operations in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Ryan led the physical training program for more than 400 service members, training and ensuring their physical readiness. Ryan is a trained Emergency Medical Technician with extensive knowledge of the human body.
Born and raised on Long Island, NY, Mary Beth landed on the west coast by way of Boston. There she received her Masters In Education and taught kindergarten in the public school system for almost 7 years. Her passions for wellness, century riding, and marathon running (including Boston 2014) helped fuel and launch her career in the fitness industry first at Equinox Newport Beach, as well as multiple OC boutique fitness facilities quickly becoming a highly sought after group fitness instructor and nutrition specialist. In 2017, Mary Beth Co-founded and continues to help operate Motion Fitness Group with her business partners Scott Perry, Kenny Nguyen, and Ryan Hall. Mary Beth holds multiple degrees and certifications including Ms.Ed., Pn.1, AFFA, Schwinn, NASM Anatomy, Reiki 2, and most recently graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a Certified Health Coach.
From the beginning, Kenny is Motion Fitness Group’s managing partner overseeing technology, client & business data platforms, with primary focus on the company’s systems and processes. Prior to Motion Fitness Group, Nguyen was a Global Vice President at Foxconn Electronics, ran sales for a startup company in the wireless smartphone industry that sold in 2014; and worked from 2000 to 2011 as a Senior Executive for multibillion publicly traded Japanese manufacturing companies. During his time in corporate technology Nguyen closed relationships with Microsoft Xbox, AT&T, Blackberry, Samsung, Verizon, Ingram Micro, just to name a few. Nguyen attended Phoenix University studying Business Administration.

Amy’s affinity for fitness began in her athletic career spanning from childhood through college. Amy was a three sport Division 1 athlete. After college Amy pursued her career in fitness with a credential from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Since 2011 Amy has been building a name for herself in the Fitness industry as a sought after trainer. She has worked with household names such as Nike, Adidas, Under Armor, Fabletics, and more. Amy has a warm welcoming personality, and has the gift of creating an accepting and challenging environment in her classes. Amy will make you laugh as she simultaneously pushes you to your edge.
Sarah's Mission over the past decade has been to infuse one's with hope. Hope for their health, life, soul & spirit. She stepped into the fitness industry in 2013 after seeing the power it had in transforming her life from drug addict to fitness addict. Sarah knew that she had a responsibility to aide others on their own health journey. She guarantees to make sure will always feel seen in her class, without judgment.
Joe is equal parts driven and laid back. He relentlessly embraces discomfort in fitness and life with a smile on his face. Joe believes any trainer can make you tired but he wants to help make you better. Gratitude, time outdoors, and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich everyday is a must. Joe will make sure you get the most out of YOU. Every. Single. Time.
Emily is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. She has been in the fitness industry for a few years and is passionate about leading and helping others live a healthy, happy, and active lifestyle. She is sassy yet sweet, and loves to dance and spend time in the sunshine. Her classes are full of energy, great music, and she is always making sure your form is on point! Emily strives to make each of her clients feel seen and confident, and will push you towards your goals every single day.
